The first week we spent on the Lisbon coast in Ericera where we settled into a routine of going to a freshwater lagoon on the other side of the sand at the beach. The waves were huge on one side and the water was freezing so it was good to be able to swim around in the lagoon. The second week we went down to the Algarve to a village called Burgau. It was beautiful and we didn't want to leave. Ruby made friends with all the holidayers, found herself some surrogate grandparents, they all loved her. We also ran into one of Daddy's friends from the IOW and we had a great time playing with Emily and Chloe and going out for dinner and ice-creams with them.
