All was going well, camping right on the beach and the weather was great, we made some friends and I did my first ride on my bike by myself to the shops to buy ice-creams - Ruby had a Twister and I bought a Golden Gaytime. The kangaroos were everywhere, very calm, we were a bit blase about it after the first day, they came right up to your tent. But the last night there was very strong wind which was still around when we were packing up to leave and unfortunately our tent poles snapped, the tent ripped and we ended up having to throw it out - so we might buy a better one for next time!
